Milan | MIL-02

The renovation of this apartment redefines the spatial experience through careful light management, material continuity, and functional planning. High ceilings, selective demolition, and open circulation create a sense of volume, while polished concrete floors and clean lines reinforce a minimalist, modern aesthetic.
The living and kitchen areas serve as the centerpiece of the home. White lacquered cabinetry extends toward the terrace, and a terrazzo island with flexible dining arrangements allows seamless adaptation for daily use or entertaining. A floor-to-ceiling maple plywood panel wall connects the living, kitchen, and bedrooms, reinforcing visual continuity throughout the apartment.
Private spaces are designed for calm and efficiency. The main bedroom is preceded by a walk-in closet, and the bathroom features a stone walk-in shower, wall-to-wall sinks, and durable epoxy-painted walls. A secondary room functions as both a studio and guest bedroom, offering adaptable storage and workspace.
The terrace enhances the living experience by integrating indoor and outdoor spaces. A bioclimatic pergola, pool oriented for maximum sunlight, and outdoor kitchen with barbecue create a functional and inviting outdoor area. A small lounge area completes the space, providing a harmonious extension of the apartment’s minimalist design.
