Saluzzo | SAL-01
The library is defined by a custom-built wooden structure, framed into the room to form a box-like enclosure. This design creates an intimate, cozy space for reading and reflection, while maintaining a strong visual connection with the surrounding area.
Books are integrated into the structure, both below the seating and along the back wall, emphasizing functionality and a seamless spatial organization. Subtle lighting enhances the warmth of the wood and defines the space without overwhelming it.
The intervention transforms the library into a quiet retreat within the house, where materiality, scale, and careful framing create a sense of enclosure while preserving openness and connection to the rest of the home.
