Team

Francisco Seiref, Co-Founder & Principal · Architectural Designer

Francisco earned his degree in Architecture and Urbanism from Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires in 2019. While still a student, he began his career at Marcelo Seiref’s architecture studio (Marq), where he had his first hands-on experience in architecture and construction, working directly with the different trades. He later took part in residential and commercial projects at Losanj, alongside his university classmates. He then collaborated with a Miami-based interior design studio while developing independent projects, building an interdisciplinary approach and an international perspective on design.

From an early age, Francisco felt a deep attraction to construction and design. He spent hours building with toy blocks and drawing houses. Growing up in the city sparked a desire for a closer connection with nature, in contrast to the lack of green spaces and the constant noise of urban life. This sensitivity continues to guide his work and inspires spaces that harmonize human experience with the natural environment. His vision stems from the conviction that architecture should not only meet the needs of those who inhabit it, but also improve their everyday lives and foster a deeper connection with their surroundings.

In 2020, Francisco co-founded Seiref with his brother, giving shape to a shared vision: creating architecture and objects designed to live together in harmony, under a single identity. The studio pursues an interdisciplinary design practice that brings together architecture, interior design and object design, aiming to improve people’s quality of life through spaces and pieces that respond to their needs and enrich their everyday experience. Its work is grounded in craftsmanship, attention to detail and enduring elegance, with the intention of creating designs that transcend trends and accompany those who live with them over time.

Felipe Seiref, Co-Founder & Principal · Industrial Designer

Born with a creative and curious mind, Felipe dedicated hours to drawing and researching, which led him to develop his penchant for innovation. Always eager to understand how things work, he studied at Universidad de Palermo in Buenos Aires, graduating with a degree in Industrial Design four years later. Taking notice of his innovative designs, professors asked him to collaborate on projects, which gave him the experience to take on multiple freelance design projects.

Felipe launched his career at a medical device firm based in Buenos Aires, where he specialized in developing and supervising the production of components for various medical devices.

Furniture became a particular passion, offering a way to bring together his interest in form, materials, and craftsmanship. Fascinated by the relationship between an object’s structure and its final expression, he developed a strong interest in furniture as both a functional object and a piece of design. This curiosity drives his exploration of materials, innovative construction techniques, and new ways of rethinking everyday objects.

His journey as an independent entrepreneur began with the founding of Seiref Design Studio in 2020, alongside his brother.

Luca Magnani, Creative Lead · Multimedia Designer

Luca sees space the way a camera does: through light, movement, and the moments in between. Before a project is built, he is the one who lets people walk through it, translating drawings and models into images and films that capture not only how a space looks, but how it feels to be in it.

He studied Multimedia Design at Escuela Da Vinci in Buenos Aires, graduating in 2025. Alongside his studies, he built an independent practice as a freelance designer, creating brand identities, logos, print pieces, and websites for a diverse range of clients, an experience that sharpened his eye for visual coherence and storytelling across every medium.

Luca joined Seiref Design Studio in 2024, while still completing his degree. Today he leads the studio’s visual communication, from architectural renders and animated walkthroughs to photography and the content that shapes how Seiref’s work reaches the world. He brings a cinematic sensibility to every project, ensuring that each space is presented with the same care with which it was designed.

Betún, the studio dog

Betún joined Seiref Design Studio in its early days and quickly became an essential part of everyday life at the office. With a calm presence and an attentive gaze, he oversees every meeting, every model and every review session from his favorite spot by the window.

His responsibilities include keeping the team’s spirits high, reminding everyone when it is time to take a break and welcoming every visitor to the studio. His approach is simple but effective: patience, loyalty and a well-timed wag at the most demanding moments of each project.

Although he has not yet signed a set of drawings, Betún embodies values the studio shares deeply: curiosity, companionship and the conviction that good spaces are, above all, places to share.
